This Tibetan hand-painted Green Tara Thangka pendant displays a strikingly detailed portrait of Green Tara. It was hand-painted in Tibet. The frame is made of antique brass, and displays a double vajra on the backside.
This Green Tara Thangka invokes the goddess of compassion. It is believed that Green Tara came into existence from a tear of Avalokiteshvara. She is the female protector of navigation, earthly and spiritual travel.
