Kokuza Bosatsu (Akashagarba) symbolizes the vast and boundless wisdom of the Buddha, which permeates the universe. Kokuza is said to grant those who pray to him, with wisdom that may aid them on their journey towards attaining spiritual enlightenment. He is believed to be a remover of obstacles, one who helps people recognize and overcome their errors in life, one who encourages the practice of the Six Perfections, and one who fulfills all wishes.
This Ivory Kokuza Pendant depicts Kokuza meditating on a lotus flower in the lotus position, while holding a flaming sword in his right hand and a lotus flower in his left hand. The backside of this pendant is engraved with the Dharma Wheel and the Swastika symbol at at the center of the Dharma Wheel. This Ivory Kokuza Pendant was handmade from 100% mammoth tusk. It is pre-strung with a solid polyester rope.
