Because it was under the bodhi tree which Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment, it has come to be believed that these lovely rosary beads contain powerful spiritual energy which offer a profound way for practitioners to attain enlightenment.
This Authentic Bodhi Seed Mala is made with old Tibetan bodhi seeds which have aged to a beautiful dark red color with visible dark veins. The eye formation is still quite visible as well, making them even more precious to practitioners of the dharma. These bodhi seeds have been cleaned and re-strung in Tibet with a durable red colored rope tied with a snake knot and tassel.
