The Bodhi Seed is famed for its smoothness of skin, texture and eye formation. It is said that the Bodhi seed is enlightened and therefore referred as an "Enlightened Seed". Making it very useful for those who are on the path to attaining enlightened. Contrary to popular belief, bodhi seeds are from a tree related to the Rudraksha, called the Elaeocarpus Ganitrus, and not the actual Bodhi tree. The bodhi tree produces small seeds which are inside a tiny fig. These seeds are too small to be used for making malas.
The bodhi seeds on this Authentic Bodhi Seed Mala are 100% genuine antique Tibetan bodhi seeds. They have been pre-used in various types of spiritual and Buddhist practices for over a generation in Tibet. Overtime, these bodhi seeds have aged to a light brown color. The bodhi seeds on this Authentic Bodhi Seed Mala has been cleaned and re-strung in Tibet.

Items that come with certificates of authenticity such as our jade and ivory (mammoth tusk) products may require up to 5-10 business days handling time.
Delivery roughly takes between 8 to 12 business days.
Orders are shipped from the United States, the Himalayas in India, Tibet, Nepal and China. Depending on what you purchase, depends on where your order will be shipped from.
