Since ancient times, the Shurangama Sutra has been considered to be the single most important starting point for seekers of divine wisdom. According to ancient scriptures, Gautama Buddha entrusted the Shurangama Sutra to the Bodhisattva Manjushri, for safe keeping and for the transmission of its contents far and wide. It was believed that the survival of Buddhism and humanity, would one day rest solely on this text.
This circular Surangama Sutra Pendant is made of oxidized 999 silver. It is engraved with Surangama Sutra in a circular format in the Siddham script on both sides.
