These jade-like seeds are symbolic of purity and rebirth of the mind, body and soul. It is said that bodhi root can bring about feelings of rebirth and innocents, allowing us to see the world around us with virgin eyes, again. And that each moment will feel like a new beginning.
In China, this particular type of bodhi is often referred to as "Jade Bodhi", for its jade-like color. The white bodhi root places a higher value on enjoyment, which can help one practice Buddhism and mitigate disaster.
