This Tibetan Mani Stone Pendant is made from oxidized 999 silver. It depicts the popular Tibetan Om Mani Padme Hum mantra engraved in the Tibetan script.
Mani stones are stone plates, rocks or pebbles, carved, engraved or painted with the six syllabled mantra of Avalokiteshvara, Om Mani Padme Hum. In Tibet, mani stones are intentionally placed along the roadsides and rivers or placed together to form mounds or cairns or sometimes long walls, as an offering to spirits of place or genius loci.
