White Bodhi root, also known as Banyan Root is the seed of the corypha umbraculifea linn. It becomes mature every 60 years. The white bodhi root comes in a variety of colors ranging from white to dark brown, and there is even a very rare one that is a greenish turquoise colors. Depending on the color also depends on how expensive the cost will be. White being the most inexpensive and dark brown being the most expensive. The greenish turquoise however, due to its rarity, yelids the highest price of all the color ranges.
In China, this particular type of bodhi is often referred to as "Jade Bodhi", for its jad-like color luster and texture. The white bodhi root places a higher value on enjoyment, which can help one practice Buddhism and disaster mitigation.
